Dental implants are artificial tooth replacements employed to counter tooth loss. They are  composed of titanium material. A space is drilled into the appropriate jaw site, where the roots of real teeth used to be, which allows for the placement of the implant. On top of the implant, we add the necessary prosthetic work.
